AARON FITZGERALD
Aaron Fitzgerald, former UC Irvine Men’s Basketball Point Guard, was named the 2005-2006 Big West MVP by CollegeInsider.com, avereaged 12.8 points and led the Big West with 6.3 assists per game (7th nationally) his Senior year. He also led UCI and the Big West in assists his Junior year, averaging 5.3 per game. As a Senior at John F. Kennedy High School in Burien, Fitzgerald led the state of Washington in scoring averaging 32 points per game for Coach Mike Willis. He had four games of 40 plus points, averaged 6 rebounds and 6 assists per game and was earned first team, all-state honors. Aaron Fitzgerald has turned his passion for basketball and fitness towards teaching others to become physically and mentally fit through the Power House Personal Training System.
Ryan Appleby, former UW Men’s Basketball Guard, was a three year letter winner and ranks No. 1 among UW marksmen with 231 career 3-point field goals. He owns three of the top five single season 3-point performances and set a school record with nine 3-pointers at Oregon State. Appleby made six 3-pointers on five occasions and of his 288 career collegiate field goals, 231 came from 3-point range (80%). Notably one of the top-rated point guard prospects in the nation coming out of high school, he has turned to teaching others to fulfill their sports and personal fitness goals.
Jasen Baskett, the president and founder of the Emerald City Basketball Academy, is a basketball coach, basketball trainer, and strength and conditioning coach. He has over 15 years of experience in training and creating exercise programs for people of all levels. A graduate of Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education/Recreation, Coach Baskett has focused on basketball since his graduation. He always applies sports specific training, functional training, circuit and core training into all of his exercise classes.
